Sydney's Middle Harbour

Sydney's Middle Harbour is vast - and beautiful! After you have gotten over (well, no, you don't ever get over) the fantastic main Sydney Harbour with the Bridge, Opera House and all the rest... it's well worth going just that bit further to find out the secrets of Middle Harbour.

It has views that will take your breath away, uplift your spirit and make your day! I think the only thing we don't have at our end of middle harbour (Sugerloaf Bay) are the Pelicans! But you can get those when you set off at Spit Bridge, which is where most kayakers start and finish their journeys around Sydney.

So be prepared to see waterdragons, lush vegetation, Crimson Rosellas, Rainbow Lorikeets, Sulphur Crested Cockatoos, Kookaburras (heaps of others, but I am still learning!) and if you're lucky, you might even grab a decent coffee on the water as the 'Coffee Boat Man' floats past!
